The Louisiana Hospital Association has established several subsidiary corporations to allow us to better serve the needs of Louisiana hospitals.
	SHARECOR is a jointly and equally owned for-profit subsidiary of the LHA and the Metropolitan Hospital Council of New Orleans (Metro). ShareCor develops and markets discount contracts with vendors for services that assist Louisiana hospitals in the economical and efficient operation of their institutions. In addition, the LHA and Metro pooled their data resources and now provide data and information services without redundancy through The Louisiana Health Information Network (LHIN), a ShareCor subsidiary.
	LHA Management Corporation is a for-profit subsidiary of the LHA formed for the purpose of serving the membership in ways that may not be directly related to the non-profit mission of the association.
	LHA Trust Funds provide affordable professional, general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.
	LHA Research & Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organized for education and research purposes to house all government grant activities and contracts, to instruct and train individuals and groups through educational offerings, forums, panels, lecture or similar programs and to improve and/or develop capabilities in the field of hospital and related health service management and administration.
