OVERVIEW: This webinar will analyze the 2024 Medicare Advantage and Part D Final Rule. The presenters will outline the key changes that will affect patients and healthcare providers, including utilization management requirements, marketing requirements, the star ratings program, and advancing health equity. The attendees can expect to focus on changes to the prior authorization process, highlighting the new continuity of care requirements and changes made to reduce disruptions for beneficiaries. Speakers will present attendees with several examples of how the final rule aims to increase accountability for Medicare Advantage plans and give patients and healthcare providers more tools and leverage for ensuring consistent access to care. Participants will be able to analyze the final rule and apply concepts in order to provide improved access to coverage and care.

·        Evaluate how the final rule can increase accountability for Medicare Advantage plans; and

CANCELLATION POLICY: Individuals who cancel more than seven business days prior to a scheduled event will be charged a cancellation fee of $40 per person unless the webinar is complimentary. Written notice of the cancellation must be emailed to [email protected]. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within seven business days of the event or for no-shows. 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Registrants who are unable to participate in an LHA educational event are permitted and encouraged to have an eligible substitute; however, written notice of the substitution must be emailed to [email protected] at least seven business days in advance of the event. The substitution option is not available if written notification is received by the LHA less than seven business days before the scheduled program.
