Just as our knowledge and wisdom builds with each experience, this course is designed with sessions that build on each other, reinforcing previously-introduced material while introducing new content. Therefore, the need to make the commitment to participate in the 2 learning sessions will provide the best educational experience, and the LHA will give priority to those willing to make that commitment.
COMMITMENT: Because the LHA is subsidizing the full cost of this valuable education for hospital members and given the limited availability, we request that you are able to meet the full commitment requirements that follow. By completing the registration, you are attesting to your full commitment to attend and actively participate in all 2 sessions and to completing all assignments or projects by the assigned due date.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: To meet our obligations and requirements for issuing continuing education, the LHA is requiring each participant to complete all 2 sessions in order to be awarded continuing education credit.
NOTE: Partial (per session) continuing education credit will not be awarded. In order to accurately capture your attendance in all sessions, you will be required to register individually on a computer for each session. The LHA will provide you a WebEx link, allowing you to register before each session. This enables the LHA Education Department to identify you by your email address and also documents your participation. Because of the technical limitations, cell phone registration is not permitted at this time.
CONTINUING EDUCATION WITH A PROCTOR: If you and several of your co-workers are interested in attending the same education session together, special steps must be taken in order for each person to obtain continuing education credit. To ensure compliance, review the “Proctoring a Course for Continuing Education Credits” instructions that can be found on the LHA’s education webpage at https://www.lhaonline.org/page/576. Continuing education credits will not be awarded if you fail to follow the proctor instructions.
