LHA Transitioning to Online-Only Registrations: L HA’s Education Department has transitioned to a paperless registration process beginning July 1. All registrations for LHA education events will only be offered online, and the fax option is no longer be available.

  • Podcasts and Transcripts for CMS Stakeholder Calls : CMS’s “Podcast and Transcripts” webpage houses all podcasts, transcripts and audio recordings of previous COVID-19 Stakeholder Calls. For any related questions, contact PARTNERSHIP@cms.hhs.gov.
  • CDC MIS-C Call Recording: The CDC posted a call recording for its May 19 call on Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C). The call covered the clinical characteristics of MIS-C, how cases have been diagnosed and treated, and how clinicians are responding to recently-reported cases associated with COVID-19.
  • AHA Lessons Learned Podcast: In this first of a two-part podcast, AHA Physician Alliance Vice President Elisa Arespacochaga and two senior leaders from New York City-based Medisys Health Network explore the role of collaboration between clinical and administrative leaders to enable teams to be more effective together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • LHA Education Update: Because of social distancing, all LHA in-person classes through 2020 have been cancelled or rescheduled, but the LHA is offering the following webinars: Check the LHA Calendar for webinar opportunities.
  • LONL Update: The LONL board of directors has decided to cancel the annual LONL conference, which was rescheduled for Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2020. More information will be emailed to participants and sponsors.  

CARELEARNING

  • Ventilator Re-Skilling: CareLearning is offering a self-directed, online “COVID-19 Ventilator Reskilling Course” to help healthcare providers in the acute-care setting improve knowledge and competence in mechanical ventilation skills.
